Biography

Anjali Prabhakar is a multifaceted artist who depicts various aspects of life in her paintings in an impressive manner. Her early education in music and dance has given rhythm to her art, while her deep understanding of the philosophy of life has given seriousness. Along with a masters in fashion art, she has also studied psychology and management. The combined effect of these educations is that there is balance in each of her paintings, from the subject to the use of colours and the formation of shapes, which makes her art more impressive. The variety of subjects is another beautiful aspect of her art. She has depicted success, love, spirituality as well as many practical aspects of life. This is the reason why her paintings have always attracted art lovers and art collectors. Her work is included in the collections of many art collectors in the country and abroad.

People have been getting acquainted with her art through many solo and group exhibitions as well as art camps in the country and abroad. Articles on her art are continuously published in many newspapers and magazines as well as art journals. A book on her art journey titled Tunes of Life has been published by renowned art writer Dr. Ved Prakash Bhardwaj.

Born in Bihar in 1975, Anjali Prabhakar now lives permanently in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal is a centre for various arts, the environment of which has given new energy to her art. She has also been associated with art teaching for a long time.
